General description
The SeQuant® ZIC®-cHILIC capillary columns have a zwitterionic stationary phase covalently attached to porous silica. The permanent and hydrophilic zwitterion functionality makes the column suitable for Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography (HILIC). The capillary and microbore columns (0.3–1.0 mm I.D.) are made from stainless steel that has been internally glass-lined and has 10–32 UNF female fittings. The frits have a porosity to retain 3–5 μm particles and are made from stainless steel.
Storage and Stability
Store columns as shipped: Acetonitrile/5 mM ammoniumacetate, pH 6.8; 80 : 20 (v/v). Dispose the column according to local authorities andregulations.
Analysis Note
These columns are are designed forexcellent HPLC and LC-MS separation of polar, hydrophilic compounds. SeQuant® ZIC®-cHILIC, with phosphorylcholine functional groups, provides you with complementary selectivity for easier method development for analytes that have been difficult to separate by previous types of HPLC columns operated in reversed-phase or HILIC mode.
