General description
SUPELCOSIL LC-ABZ phase has a unique deactivation technology which provides excellent reversed-phase performance for basic compounds, as well as those that are acidic, polar neutral, and non-polar. Silanol suppressing practices such as using competing amines, operating at high ionic strength, and adjusting mobile phases to pH extremes are typically not required to obtain good peak shape on the LC-ABZ phase.
Application
- Determination of active substances in binary mixture antiparasitic veterinary formulations by HPLC: This study showcases the use of the SUPELCOSIL™ LC-ABZ HPLC column for the precise determination of active compounds in veterinary medicine. This application is crucial in ensuring the effectiveness and safety of veterinary drugs. The study highlights the column′s capability to handle complex mixtures in pharmaceutical formulations, demonstrating its effectiveness in both academic research settings and in quality control for pharmaceutical applications (Kulik et al., 2011).
