[Studies on the chemical constituents of Ampelopsis humulifolia var. heterophylla (Thunb.) K. Koch].

To study the chemical constituents from Ampelopsis humulifolia var. heterophylla (Thunb.) K. Koch. Chromatography and spectroscopic analysis were employed to isolate and elucidate the chemical constituents in the plant. Six compounds were isolated and elucidated as lupeol, beta-stiosterol, daucosterol, ethyl gallate, gallic acid and catechin. The six compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
