ABSTRACT

The toxic properties of indole have been studied in terms of LD50 indole was established to refer to moderately hazardous substances: in case of indole introducing into the stomach in rats and mice, DL50 is 1200 mg/kg and 750 mg/kg respectively Indole has a weak ability to cumulation, and has a strong irritant effect to the eyes and a moderate one to the skin.
