General description
6-巯基己酸（MHA）可形成自组装单层膜（SAM），其可用于包裹各种材料，如金纳米颗粒（AuNPs）和磷化铟量子点（InPQDs）。它主要用于固定化表面分子，从而增强其物理化学和电学性质。
Application
MHA可用于InP量子纳米线的表面修饰，从而潜在用作监测氰化物离子的荧光化学传感器。MHA还可以与脂质体共价键合，该脂质体可以在金表面形成SAM，并以生物传感器的应用形式用作昆虫气味受体。
