Evonik Noblyst® P2058 5% Pt is a platinum on carbon catalyst. It has been shown to be effective in the following reactions:
- hydrogenation of aromatic nitro groups
- hydrogenation of hydrazones
- hydrogenation of aromatic carbonyls to alcohols
- hydrogenation of nitriles
