General description

FGF碱性(FGF2)是成纤维细胞生长因子(FGF)家族的成员。FGF家族成员结合肝素,并具有广泛的促有丝分裂和血管生成活性。FGF2参与多种生物学过程中,例如肢体和神经系统发育、伤口愈合和肿瘤生长。FGF2 mRNA包含多个聚腺苷酸化位点,并交替从AUG和非 AUG(CUG)起始密码子进行翻译,产生具有不同特性的五个不同亚型。CUG 起始的亚型位于细胞核中,负责内分泌作用,而 AUG 起始的形式主要存在于细胞质中,并负责该 FGF 的旁分泌和自分泌作用。
