General description

成纤维细胞特异性蛋白1（FSP1）/S100A4是属于S100超家族的细胞质钙结合蛋白，迄今为止已鉴定出至少21个成员。研究人员认为，FSP1/S1004A在成纤维细胞（Iwano et al., 2001; Strutz et al., 1995）、经历上皮-间质转化（EMT）的上皮细胞和内皮细胞（Iwano et al., 2002; Zeisberg and Neilson, 2009）和完成向转移表型的转变的上皮癌细胞（Xue et al., 2003）中高度表达。
