General description
Cellvento® ModiFeed Sial+ COMP is a chemically defined, non-animal origin, complete cell culture feed EMPROVE®CCM supplied as a compacted dry powder for simplified handling and rapid hydration. It is Part of the ModiFeed glycosylation-modulating feed platform, this highly concentrated, single-part, pH-neutral fed-batch feed is engineered to maximize sialylation on the therapeutic protein of interest a critical quality attribute (CQA) directly influencing the biological activity, solubility, serum half-life, and safety of therapeutic glycoproteins.On combination with Cellvento® ModiFeed Prime it allows tunable Sialylation.

Application
Cellvento® ModiFeed Sial+ COMP is used for:
- Monoclonal antibody (mAb) development and commercial biopharmaceutical manufacturing in CHO cell-based expression systems
- Biosimilar development requiring precise, titratable sialylation profile control to match originator glycan fingerprints
- Upstream fed-batch and intensified fed-batch bioprocessing where maximized terminal sialylation is a defined CQA
- Next-generation therapeutic glycoprotein production targeting enhanced anti-inflammatory activity, stability, and efficacy
- Mixed feed glycosylation tuning mcombinable with Cellvento® ModiFeed Prime COMP to dial in a precise target sialylation level across a titratable spectrum
- Compatible with Cellvento® 4CHO COMP and EX-CELL® Advanced CHO production media for a fully integrated, chemically defined upstream CHO bioprocess platform
