We continue to demonstrate our commitment to our planet and a sustainable future by exploring ways to improve existing products in our portfolio. We have recently reviewed the current line of MQuant^® test strips to identify key opportunities to minimize impact without compromising on the product performance. This product has benefited from several improvements such as the reduction of the materials used for the test strips including chemicals and plastic thanks to a reduction of the test strip width, as well the switch from virgin aluminium to aluminium that consists of 60% post-industrial recycled aluminium and 40% internal aluminium scrap for the primary packaging tube, and the removal of the instruction leaflet replaced by a QR code on the packaging leading to the digital test instructions on “My M Safety” app. Therefore this product is identified as Greener Alternative Product within the category Re-engineered products.
