Application

The application of the disposable lid on the MAS-100 NT® air sampler is identical to that of the standard perforated lid. You may follow the user instructions of MAS-100 NT®. The only difference is the lack of a twist fastener, which simplifies handling even more.

General description

Safe Lid for MAS-100 NT® is a disposable alternative to the autoclavable standard perforated lid made from aluminum (ref. 1.09195). It is made of 100% recyclable acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and comes in 30 individually double-packed and sterilized pieces per package.

Safe Lid has the same sieve configuration as the standard perforated lid with 300 holes of 0.6 mm diameter. This ensures an identical impact velocity of 19.6 m/s and a nominal d50 of 1.1 μm. The simplified validation of the recovery rates according to EN 17141 resulted in comparable values for both perforated lids.
