General description
ChromoCult®显色性克氏杆菌分离琼脂分离琼脂是一种显色培养基，含有显色化合物5-溴-4-氯-3-吲哚基-α-D-吡喃葡糖苷，这是一种检测α-葡糖苷酶的底物。这种酶在所有克氏杆菌属中很常见，在培养基上呈蓝色到蓝绿色的菌落。该培养基具有中等营养和选择性，可确保克氏杆菌在富集前和选择性富集后良好生长。脱氧胆酸钠可抑制革兰氏阳性伴随菌群生长。硫代硫酸钠和柠檬酸铵(III)有助于从产硫化氢的肠杆菌中区分克氏杆菌。氯化钠可维持培养基的渗透压平衡，而琼脂则是凝固剂。
