ReadyPlate^™ agar plates are stackable, specially designed plates that help increase safety during handling, transport, and incubation. ReadyPlate^™ agar plates are of standard 90mm diameter. Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA, Soybean Casein Digest Agar) is a medium used for the cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, and molds. The formulation of the Tryptic Soy Agar contains a combination of casein and soy peptones supplying organic nitrogen, particularly amino acids, and longer-chained peptides. Sodium chloride maintains the osmotic equilibrium and the medium is supplemented with neutralizers such as lecithin, polysorbate (Tween^®) 80, and histidine to inactivate disinfectant residues.

Tryptic Soy Agar is a universal culture medium, free from indicators and inhibitors that can support the cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, and molds in Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical, environmental, Food and Beverages samples.
