Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB) is a nutrient rich complex medium designed for the enumeration of total microbial count present in the test sample. The peptones from casein and soymeal to provide enhanced carbon source which promotes growth for the microflora. The broth medium is widely used during sterility testing due to its wide range of specificity.
