General description

39 kDa（分子量34 kDa）
NANOG是一个在胚胎干细胞（ESC）中表达的基因，被认为是维持多能性的关键因素。NANOG被认为可以与其他因子（如POU5F1和SOX2）协同作用以建立ESC特性。这些细胞由于具有维持多能性的能力而发展出重要的研究领域，即，这些细胞实际上具有成为三个胚层（内胚层、外胚层、中胚层）中任何细胞的能力。
