General description
HuR，又称Hu抗原R、ELAV样蛋白1，由基因名称ELAVL1和HuR编码，是RRM ELAV家族成员。HuR是一种RNA结合蛋白，包含3个RNA结合域。已知可以结合mRNA的富含AU的元件。它通过破坏其mRNA的稳定性来调节基因表达。最新研究证实，HuR在某些癌症（例如乳腺癌和胃癌）中被上调。HuR也参与胚胎干细胞（ESC）的分化。HuR优先结合未被N6 -甲基腺苷(m6A)甲基化的mRNA，使其稳定化，从而促进ESC分化。此外，HuR已被证明可以结合靶mRNA 3′-UTR中的poly-U元素和富AU元素（ARE），以及FOS和IL3/白细胞介素-3 mRNA中的富AU元素。一些HuR’靶标包括cFos、IL-3和BRCA1 mRNA。HuR还参与某些细胞类型中VEFG-A和NFkB表达的调节。HuR的激活和积累也与许多能量信号分子有关，例如PI3K/Akt途径和AMPK。
观察值〜37 kDa。某些裂解液可能会出现未表征的条带。
