General description

少突胶质细胞转录因子2(UniProt Q9EQW6;也称为bHLHe19,Olg-2,Oligo2,RACK17,RK17)由鼠物种中的Olig2(也称为Bhlhb1)基因(基因ID 50913)编码。Olig2是在脊髓心室区域表达的碱性螺旋-环-螺旋(bHLH)转录因子,在胚胎发生过程中介导运动神经元和少突胶质细胞的顺序生成。Olig2在早期时间点还充当pMN祖细胞中的抗神经源性因子,以维持循环祖细胞池。Olig2的抗神经源性也在肿瘤发生中起作用,特别是在脑肿瘤和白血病中。由于其在胶质母细胞瘤和其他弥漫性神经胶质瘤中的表达,Olig2是这些脑肿瘤的有用诊断标志物。
观察值〜37 kDa。计算值为32.40 kDa。
