General description

磷脂酰肌醇3-激酶调节亚基α(UniProt Q63787;也称为磷脂酰肌醇3-激酶85kDa调节亚基α,PI3-激酶调节亚基α,PtdIns-3-激酶调节亚基p85-α,PI3-激酶亚基p85-α,PI3K调节亚基α,PtdIns-3-激酶调节亚基α)由大鼠物种中的Pik3r1基因(基因ID 25513)编码。PI3K调节亚基α催化PI(4,5)P2肌醇环在3位的磷酸化,生成PI(3,4,5)P3,这是一种有效的第二信使,可介导生存信号和胰岛素作用。PI3激酶是由85 kDa调节亚基和110 kDa催化亚基组成的异二聚体复合物。配体结合后,生长因子受体的酪氨酸磷酸化产生p85结合的停泊位点(通过其SH2结构域),并充当衔接子,介导p110催化单元与质膜的关联性。在胰岛素刺激的胰岛素敏感性组织的葡萄糖摄取和糖原合成增加中起作用。已知Pik3r1基因的突变与抗胰岛素性有关。
