General description

胸腺基质淋巴生成素(TSLP)最近被确定为能够驱动树突状细胞成熟和激活的重要因子。TSLP是一种主要由屏障上皮细胞表达的四螺旋束细胞因子,是多种细胞类型(如骨髓树突状细胞)的有效激活剂。TSLP参与调节性T细胞的正向选择、外周CD4+ T细胞稳态的维持和CD4+ T细胞介导过敏反应的诱导。TSLP还能够支持胎儿肝脏和成人B细胞祖细胞的生长,并支持它们向B细胞发育的IgM阳性阶段分化。TSLP在许多组织中表达,包括心脏、肝脏和前列腺。
观察值〜23 kDa。 该蛋白的计算分子量为18 kDa,但由于高糖基化,可以在〜23 kDa处观察到。
