General description

多巴胺β羟化酶(DBH)是编码DβH酶的结构基因座,是影响血浆DβH活性的主要数量性状基因座,其中一个单核苷酸多态性(SNP)占方差的50%。DBH处的突变似乎是造成DβH缺乏症的罕见综合征的原因。 它是参与膜结合小分子神经递质合成的唯一酶,使去甲肾上腺素和肾上腺素成为囊泡内合成的唯一递质。它在中枢和外周神经系统的去甲肾上腺素能神经末梢以及肾上腺髓质的嗜铬细胞中表达。
