General description

转移抑制因子KiSS-1(KiSS-1;或Kisspeptin-1)是孤儿G蛋白偶联受体GPR54的几种内源性配体之一。KiSS-1通过抑制受影响细胞的迁移和增殖,在各种类型的癌症中起着抑制转移的作用。这种作用可能是由多种信号通路的激活产生的: 配体结合的GPR54通过PLC途径激活IP3和PKC信号传导;以及cPLA2引起的ERK 1和ERK 2,这可能分别导致钙信号传导和基因转录增加。然而,最近,KiSS-1/GPR54信号传导与青春期和发育有关。KISS-1/GPR54可能在青春期调节GnRH神经元的信号传导,并可能影响FH和LSH激素的释放。KISS-1在中枢神经系统、睾丸、胰腺、肠、卵巢和胎盘中高度表达。
