General description
聚(ADP-核糖)糖水解酶(PARG)是一种对聚(ADP-核糖)(PARP)具有内切和外切糖苷酶活性的酶,可迅速降解PARP以释放大量游离ADP-核糖。PARG参与了几个细胞过程,包括:凋亡、DNA修复、细胞周期进程、细胞存活和细胞分化。在凋亡过程中,PARG被胱天蛋白酶-3裂解,表明PARG活性在此过程中受到调节。尽管由一个基因编码,但PARG以不同的亚型存在于不同的细胞定位中: 亚型1(111 kDa)存在于细胞核中,亚型2(102 kDa)存在于细胞质中,亚型3(99 kDa)存在于线粒体中。研究表明,PARG亚型1在精子染色质质量和随后的胚胎存活中起关键作用。
