General description

Pellicon® 3 cassette with Biomax® membrane is a high performance tangential flow filtration (TFF) device designed for the concentration and diafiltration of therapeutic proteins and other biologics. This cassette is manufactured to support high titer and high viscosity feed streams. Its durable construction enables operation under demanding process conditions, including elevated pressures, temperatures, and rigorous cleaning protocols.

Application

Pellicon® 3 Cassettes with Biomax® 30kD Membrane D screen is manufactured to efficiently process high viscosity products. These cassettes can achieve higher concentration therapeutic protein formulations by maximizing mass transfer and managing the pressure drop created by higher viscosity. From process development through commercial production, these cassettes deliver reliable performance across various filtration applications, including:
  • Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs)
  • Recombinant proteins
  • Plasma-derived products
