General description

The Pellicon® 3 Cassette with Ultracel® membrane is a high performance tangential flow filtration (TFF) device designed to support efficient ultrafiltration and diafiltration of therapeutic antibodies and other biologics. This cassette is manufactured for high product recovery, reliable flux performance, and robust cleanability. It reduces processing time while maintaining product quality. Its durable construction enables operation under demanding process conditions, including elevated pressures, and temperatures, making it an ideal choice for today′s high-titer bioprocessing applications.

Application

Pellicon® 3 Cassettes with Ultracel® 30kD Membrane D screen is manufactured to efficiently process high viscosity products. These cassettes can achieve higher concentration therapeutic protein formulations by maximizing mass transfer and managing the pressure drop created by higher viscosity. From process development through commercial production, these cassettes deliver reliable performance across various filtration applications, including:
  • High fouling mAb
  • Recombinant and non-recombinant proteins
  • Plasma
  • vaccine process streams
