General description

Fluorescently labeled primers are used as probes to detect the amplified PCR product. It is used to produce the amplicon. These probes are designed such that the primer extension leads to improved fluorescence.
The Amplifluor® UniPrimer-fluorescein is a hairpin primer labeled with a fluorescent energy transfer pair (fluorescein and non-fluorescent quencher) and a 3′ single-stranded oligonucleotide tail and is provided at a concentration of 5.0 μM (25.0 mL).

Fluorescence (Linear:Hairpin): 39. Excitation = 495nm; Emission = 516nm.

Lentiviral vectors are now well recognized as good vehicles for gene delivery. This is because they can efficiently transduce both dividing and post-mitotic cells, and stably integrate into the host genome allowing for long-term expression of the transgene. Their potential
