General description
AmberChrom 1X2 (formerly Dowex 1X2) is an anion exchange resin.
Application
AmberChrom 1X2 chloride form has been used in the purification step for the synthesis of methyl-esterified sialic acid analogs bearing a diazirine photocrosslinker on the N-acyl (C-5) side chain 5-(SiaDAz).

AmberChrom ion exchange resin has also been used to demonstrate decontamination of (99g) Tc from spent 99Mo waste solution and recovery of (99g)Tc for research use.
