Biochem/physiol Actions

革兰氏染色法可根据细菌的细胞壁结构来区分细菌。革兰氏阳性细菌的细胞壁较厚，含有较多的肽聚糖和较少的脂质；而革兰氏阴性细菌的细胞壁较薄，含有较少的肽聚糖和较多的脂质。在染色过程中，首先将结晶紫应用于细菌，接着用碘液形成固定染料的复合物。然后使用脱色剂溶解革兰氏阴性细菌的脂质层，从而去除染料。 革兰氏阳性细菌由于其细胞壁的脱水和收缩而保留染料。随后应用复染剂，如番红或碱性复红，使脱色的革兰氏阴性细菌呈现粉红色。

General description
