General description

MRS 肉汤用于从所有类型的材料中富集、培养和分离所有种类的乳酸杆菌（根据 DeMan、Rogosa 和 Sharpe 的报道）。该培养基可用于从 MRS 琼脂中分离出的菌落的确认测试。MRS 培养基含有聚山梨醇酯（Tween 80）、醋酸盐、镁和锰，这些都是乳酸杆菌的已知的特殊生长因子，并且是丰富的营养基础。由于这些培养基显示出非常低的选择性，片球菌和明串珠菌以及其他继发细菌可能会在其中生长。大多数伴随的微生物群落可以被醋酸铊、山梨酸、醋酸、亚硝酸钠、放线菌素和多粘菌素抑制。这些物质可以以不同的浓度和组合使用，但不可避免地必须在有机体的选择性和回收率之间达成妥协。

Application

Preparation Note

将 51.25 g 溶解在 1 升蒸馏水中并加入 1 ml Tween^® 80（货号 P8074）。加热煮沸至完全溶解培养基。装入容器并通过121°C高压灭菌15 分钟进行灭菌。在 35°C 下孵育培养物最多3天，或在30°C下最多孵育 5 天。如果可能，在富含二氧化碳的厌氧罐中孵育培养物。
