    This product is provided as delivered and specified by the issuing Pharmacopoeia.     Colecalciferol is a fat soluble vitamin, which participates in the calcium and phosphate metabolism. It is sourced either through the diet or by exposing skin to ultraviolet rays. Oral administration of vitamin D3 is readily absorbed and is stored in adipose tissue.
