General description

Application

Low alloy steel Standard Reference Material (SRM) is primarily intended for validating chemical and instrumental methods of analysis.

Features and Benefits

Certified and reference mass fraction values for various constituents are provided, values are metrologically traceable to the SI unit of mass and estimated using a consistent statistical approach to determine measurement uncertainty.
SRM 1224 provides certified mass fraction values, indicating the highest level of accuracy.
Non-certified values are presented as the best estimates of true values for the reference mass fraction, along with their associated uncertainties.
