General description
燕麦琼脂是培养真菌的选择性培养基，尤其适合大孢子形成，便于真菌的分类和鉴定。燕麦可提供真菌生长所需的糖、氨基酸、肽、维生素和矿物质。燕麦琼脂可促进真菌的分生孢子形成，尤其是丝状真菌（特别是皮肤癣菌）的大孢子形成，以及酵母的厚垣孢子形成，极其适合真菌形态和鉴定研究。燕麦琼脂的营养水平较低，因而也适合酵母和霉菌的长期保存。
Application
燕麦琼脂用于真菌培养，特别适合各种食品、饮料和临床样本的大孢子形成。
Preparation Note
将72.5 g悬浮于1L蒸馏水中。 在121°C高压蒸汽灭菌15分钟。
