2-氨基吖啶酮是一种高度荧光芳香化合物,它含有伯胺基,可与碳水化合物的还原端醛基发生反应,被硼氢化钠还原为稳定的胺衍生物(NaBH4)。 可以利用这个荧光团检测聚糖化合物的皮摩尔水平。所得衍生化合物可用反相高效液相色谱法分离,通过正离子电喷雾质谱法MS检测一种强大的荧光疏水探针,在广泛的 pH 范围内性能稳定,适用于聚糖衍生化,结合胶束电动毛细管色谱、反相和正相色谱结合质谱分析来分析复合寡聚糖,从而测定个别低聚糖的相对浓度和结构同一性。λ激发和λ发射分别为425 nm和532 nm。
