General description
兔多克隆抗牛血清白蛋白（BSA）-琼脂糖与牛白蛋白反应。
白蛋白是肝细胞产生的主要蛋白质，占人血清总蛋白质含量的一半以上。 许多其他体液也含有白蛋白。 已经提出了血清白蛋白的三个主要功能： 维持渗透性压力，运输各种物质和氨基酸的内源性来源。 白蛋白降解的主要部位尚不清楚，但蛋白几乎可以被体内的每个器官代谢。 血清白蛋白水平的测定是临床医学中广泛使用的筛选测试。 血清白蛋白水平降低可能提示疾病状态，例如营养不良、肝硬化、肾病综合征、糖尿病、胃肠道和肝脏疾病、各种热灼伤和肺部疾病。
血清白蛋白是循环系统的可溶性成分。牛血清白蛋白（BSA）与人血清白蛋白（HSA）同源。BSA由三个同源结构域（I，II，III）组成，它们通过二硫键分成九个环。
