应用

卵清蛋白可用作蛋白质电泳的标记物(∼45 kDa)。卵清蛋白已用于构建哮喘的动物模型。卵清蛋白已用作EliCell测定中细胞培养基，用于检测由嗜酸性粒细胞释放的细胞因子。
研究DNA免疫分布影响的研究在抗体测定过程使用了卵清蛋白。
卵清蛋白已被用作特应性皮炎模型研究的诱导剂。
磷酸化糖蛋白，可用作蛋白质电泳的标记物（~45kDa）。已被用于生产哮喘的动物模型。

生化/生理作用

差示扫描量热法表明鸡蛋清蛋白会在84℃发生变性。卵清蛋白可用作载体蛋白以与合成肽偶联以用作免疫原。
