General description

Biochem/physiol Actions
ARP2/3 复合体由七种不同的蛋白质（Arp2 和 Arp3、p41-Arc、p34-Arc、p21-Arc、p20-Arc 和 p16-Arc）组成，共同调节细胞肌动蛋白丝的聚合。ARP3 可调控肌动蛋白成核，并参与指导单核细胞增生李斯特氏菌（Listeria monocytogenes）在感染宿主细胞中的运动。 抗 ARP3单克隆抗体可结合人、犬、大鼠和小鼠 ARP3。
肌动蛋白相关蛋白-2/3（ARP2/3）参与Wiskott-Aldrich综合征蛋白（WASP）信号传导，介导肌动蛋白丝的聚合状态。研究发现ARP2/3复合体及其激活剂常染色体隐性遗传脊髓小脑性共济失调2（Scar2）与NIH 3T3细胞的高尔基极化有关。但是，在原代星形胶质细胞中，高尔基极化既不涉及肌动蛋白细胞骨架或称Arp2/3复合体，也不涉及任何WASP蛋白。在不同的模型中，研究发现ARP2/3复合体是中性粒细胞趋化性和吞噬作用所必需的。遗传和功能缺失研究发现ARP2/3复合体的主要调节剂是Scar2，而不是WASP蛋白，后者在特定细胞活动中的作用更有限。
