General description

Biochem/physiol Actions
肌动蛋白相关蛋白2（ARP2）是ARP2/3复合物的一部分，在肌动蛋白丝形成中起关键作用。它介导肌动蛋白丝聚合状态的变化。威斯科特-奥尔德里奇氏综合征蛋白（WASP）调节蛋白质的ARP2/3复合物。ARP2/3复合体及其激活剂常染色体隐性遗传脊髓小脑性共济失调2（Scar2）与NIH 3T3细胞的高尔基极化有关。但是，在原代星形胶质细胞中，高尔基极化既不涉及肌动蛋白细胞骨架或称Arp2/3复合体，也不涉及任何WASP蛋白。在不同的模型中，研究发现ARP2/3复合体是中性粒细胞趋化性和吞噬作用所必需的。遗传和功能缺失研究发现ARP2/3复合体的主要调节剂是Scar，而不是WASP蛋白，后者在特定细胞活动中的作用更有限。
