General description

人IgM抗体是主要由B-1细胞产生的糖蛋白，负责调节人B细胞储备的生理和生长。与髓磷脂相关糖蛋白结合的循环单克隆IgM抗体与人类周围神经脱髓鞘有关。当针对人IgA、IgG、IgM、本周蛋白κ和Lambda骨髓瘤蛋白进行测试时，抗人IgMμ-链特异性过氧化物酶抗体对人IgM具有特异性。
在人体中有五类免疫球蛋白。除了它们之外，免疫球蛋白M（IgM）是一种有五至六个亚基的高分子量蛋白。IgM单体由两条重链和两条轻链通过二硫键连接而成。人血清含有低浓度的IgM单体。它具有12%左右的高碳水化合物含量。它是新生儿产生的第一种免疫球蛋白。

抗-人IgM（μ-链特异性）-过氧化物酶抗体可用于直接结合测定法中检测抗磷脂抗体（aPL）。
抗-人IgM（μ-链特异性）-过氧化物酶抗体适用于直接ELISA（1:10,000和1:5000）。它还可用于间接ELISA（1:2000）。使用 HRP 标记的山羊抗人链特异性 IgG 作为第二抗体，通过 ELISA 检测上清液样品中 IgM 的浓度。 该抗体还可用于蛋白质印迹。

Biochem/physiol Actions

免疫球蛋白M （IgM）以其单体形式作为未受刺激的淋巴细胞表面上的B细胞抗原受体的抗原特异性部分。聚合IgM分子也是经典补体级联的重要激活剂。IgM在凝集和细胞溶解反应中是必不可少的。
