应用
来自菠萝茎的菠萝蛋白酶已被用作十二烷基硫酸钠(SDS)/聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳(PAGE)酶谱中的阳性对照。它还被用作测定蛋白水解活性的偶氮酪蛋白底物。
菠萝蛋白酶可用于抑制促炎前列腺素的生物合成。可用于降低凝血效率。来自菠萝茎的菠萝蛋白酶已被用于制备蜜蜂采集的花粉的酶水解产物。
