一般描述
伴清蛋白是铁结合蛋白，主要存在于鸡蛋清中。它又称为卵转铁蛋白，属于铁结合糖蛋白转铁蛋白家族的一员。卵转铁蛋白亦即某些物种中的急性期蛋白(APP)。它是蛋清第二大蛋白。
应用
鸡蛋清伴清蛋白的应用示例：
- 作为96孔微孔板分析的卵转铁蛋白标准品，研究野生鸟类血浆中的卵转铁蛋白样活性
- 研究其对破骨细胞发生的影响
- 研究其在双水相系统中的分配情况
生化/生理作用
伴清蛋白/卵转铁蛋白在禽类天然免疫中起重要作用。能抑制细菌生长，并具有免疫调节作用。卵转铁蛋白还具有抗菌和抗氧化活性。
