一般描述

其抗体（也称为抗α-Sm-1）对α-平滑肌肌动蛋白的单一异构体具有特异性。它在免疫印迹试验中可与α-平滑肌肌动蛋白发生特异性反应，并可在冷冻或福尔马林固定的、或石蜡包埋的组织切片中对平滑肌细胞进行标记。

生化/生理作用

在鸡和大鼠胚胎成肌过程中，平滑肌肌动蛋白可与肌节α-肌动蛋白进行瞬时共表达。在成年哺乳动物心脏的心室传导通道中，经证存在这种物质。它在平滑肌瘤、平滑肌肉瘤和平滑肌母细胞瘤以及部分横纹肌肉瘤中表达。

外形

溶解保存在0.01M磷酸缓冲盐,pH7.4, 含有1%牛血清白蛋白和15 mM叠氮化钠。
