General description

抗β-联蛋白单克隆抗体（小鼠IgG1同种型）来源于小鼠骨髓瘤细胞和BALB/c小鼠脾细胞融合产生的15B8杂交瘤。β-联蛋白属于犰狳蛋白家族，包括带有12个不完全重复区的N-末端区和保守C-末端区。人类染色体中的 locus 3p22.1包含β-联蛋白基因。β-联蛋白有70%的序列与节段极性基因编码的果蝇犰狳蛋白一致。犰狳蛋白和β-联蛋白与盘状球蛋白具有很大的同源性，有人提出盘状球蛋就是γ-联蛋白。

Biochem/physiol Actions

β-联蛋白是Wnt信号通路的主要成分，并在发育期间的基因表达中起关键作用。β-联蛋白和犰狳蛋白之间的同源性表明β-联蛋白可能在脊椎动物中有发育信号传导的作用。β-联蛋白介导E-钙粘着蛋白-联蛋白络合物和表皮生长因子 (EGF) 的相互作用。β-联蛋白和盘状球蛋白是EGF刺激细胞后酪氨酸磷酸化的底物。β-联蛋白还与肿瘤抑制蛋白腺瘤性结息肉病 (APC) 有关。与β-联蛋白特异性反应的单克隆抗体是确定各种细胞和组织中β-联蛋白的相互作用和分配及其与其他联蛋白钙粘着蛋白关系的关键工具。
特异性识别哺乳动物和禽类β-连环蛋白。不与斑珠蛋白（γ-连环蛋白）发生交叉反应。

Physical form

本品为以腹水形式提供，并含有0.1％叠氮化钠作为防腐剂。

Preparation Note

若需延长储存时间，可将溶液分装并冷冻。若需连续使用，可在2-8°C下保存最长一个月。不建议反复冻融。 不建议在无霜冰箱中储存。 如果长期储存后发生轻微浑浊，请在使用前通过离心澄清溶液。
