General description

43 kDa连接蛋白蛋白（连接蛋白43，Cx43）属于连接蛋白的A型（II组）亚家族。它在大多数组织中表达，即使在各种细胞类型中表达模式可能不同。例如，在大脑中，它存在于星形胶质细胞，室管膜和软脑膜中，但不存在于神经元，少突胶质细胞和松果体细胞中。在肝脏中，它存在于Ito细胞中，但不存在于肝细胞中。

单克隆抗-连接蛋白-43（小鼠IgM亚型）抗体来自于免疫小鼠骨髓瘤细胞和脾细胞相互融合而产生的CXN-6杂交瘤。连接蛋白43（Cx43）又称GJA1（间隙连接蛋白α1）。连接蛋白分子的结构包括一个胞质N端区域，四个跨膜结构域，两个胞外环和一个不同长度的C端胞质尾。

Biochem/physiol Actions
