General description
鸡 IgY 由两条重链（H）和两条轻链（L）组成。其分子量约为 180 kDa。
鸡IgY是鸡血清中的主要抗体。鸡对哺乳动物抗原蛋白产生相对增强的抗体反应。这些免疫球蛋白不与哺乳动物和细菌中的Fc受体结合，也不与类风湿因子相互作用。因此，鸡抗体是各种研究应用中有用的分析工具。
