Anti-CKAP4 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Cytoskeleton-associated protein 4 is a protein encoded by the CKAP4 gene in humans. It is a 63kDa membrane protein and is a resident protein of a membrane network interposed in between rough ER and golgi apparatus. The protein is a transcription factor that plays pivotal roles in epidermal barrier formation and in embryonic development. CKAP4 is found to be overexpressed in intrahepatic cholangiocellular carcinoma (ICC) and is associated with tumor size, distant metastasis and lymph node metastasis. It may act as a prognostic marker for ICC patients.
