General description

STAT1（信号传导及转录激活蛋白1）是STAT家族的创始成员，人体内含有7种STAT蛋白。含有SH2（Src同源2）结构域，活化后形成同源二聚体。该基因位于人染色体2q32.2-q32.3上。

Biochem/physiol Actions

STAT1（信号传导及转录激活蛋白1）可在I型、II型或III型干扰素的信号刺激下参与基因上调。STAT1可作为恢复细胞凋亡机制和化疗敏感度的治疗靶点。P-STAT1可作为晚期肾细胞癌的干扰素(IFN)反应指标。其基因突变会造成致命的病毒感染（完全STAT1缺陷），与早死有关。
