ZNF174 (zinc finger protein 174) is a DNA-binding protein, which contains a conserved region of 84 amino acids called SCAN (SRE-ZBP, CTfin51, AW-1, and Number 18 cDNA) domain. This domain exists as a homodimer. It is composed of three C2H2-type zinc-fingers. This gene is localized to human chromosome 16p13.3.

应用

Anti-ZNF174 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. 生化/生理作用

ZNF174 (zinc finger protein 174) fusion with the DNA-binding domain of yeast GAL4 (galactose-responsive transcription factor) protein might exhibits repression activity on the heterologous DNA-binding domain. It is also responsible for the suppression of platelet-derived growth factor β chain and transforming growth factor-β1 promoters.
