General description
TMEM141 (transmembrane protein 141) is a mammalian ortholog of coiled-coil domain containing protein CCDC151. It is highly expressds in fetal and adult liver.

Application

Biochem/physiol Actions
TMEM141 (transmembrane protein 141) might play essential roles in liver, as it is highly expressed in both fetal and adult liver. Studies show that this membrane protein is associated with increased risk for suicide in two Utah pedigrees.
