生化/生理作用

碘乙酰胺在肽测序中胱氨酸残基的烷基化试剂。它是活性位点上含有胱氨酸的酶的的一种不可逆抑制剂。它与组氨酸残基的反应速度要慢得多，但这种活性是核糖核酸酶抑制的原因。
