Biochem/physiol Actions
神经肽Y(NPY) 在进食行为、焦虑、癫痫、昼夜节奏、节奏记忆处理、睡眠、疼痛和药物上瘾中起到关键作用。此外,它还涉及食欲、体重和肥胖的调节。它控制中枢内分泌腺的分泌,对心血管系统有强效的血管活性作用。NPY涉及动脉粥样硬化和冠状动脉疾病的发病机制。
该抗体通过ELISA可识别NPY(人)、NPY(猪)、NPY(绵羊)、NPY(13-36)、NPY(18-36)识别,并与PYY(人)存在交叉反应。它不与神经激肽B(NKB)、神经激肽A(NKA)、底物P(SP)、降钙素,生长抑素和BSA发生交叉反应。

General description
抗神经肽Y是在兔中以合成神经肽Y(猪)与作为免疫原的钥孔虫戚血蓝蛋(KLH)进行偶联而开发出来的。
