General description
晚期糖基化终产物受体（RAGE），也称为晚期糖基化终产物特异性受体（AGER），由定位于人染色体6p21的基因编码。编码的蛋白质是细胞表面分子免疫球蛋白超家族的成员。
Immunogen
对应于大鼠RAGE氨基酸残基362-380的合成肽。该序列在小鼠中100%保守，在人中70%保守。
Biochem/physiol Actions
晚期糖基化终产物（RAGE）受体的可溶形式在Wnt途径中具有功能。RAGE在炎症和细胞损伤以及细胞毒性的发展中起作用。它与糖尿病性动脉粥样硬化有关。AGER/RAGE还调节细胞增殖、分化和凋亡。{93
